Item Abandono e evasão escolar no 1º ano do ensino médio em uma escola estadual(2018-05-25) Macedo, Valdinei Costa deThis article is the result of a research on the problem of dropout and dropout in high school. The purpose of this study is to analyze the reasons that led some students from the 1st year of high school to leave the school year (2016) of a state school in the city of Senhor do Bonfim-BA, as well as to identify the number of students who have escaped during this same period. The reason for which the subjects of this phase were analyzed was due to the high national dropout rate and also the high dropout rate in the 4 classes of the first year of the school. The collected data were approached in a qualitative way and obtained through an information survey done at the school office and with a semistructured questionnaire applied to 11 students who left the school year. In total, 32 students dropped out and 21 dropped out, it is noteworthy that, unlike drop-out avoidance, the student reenrolled the following year. Of the 32 students who leave only 11 to accept to participate the rest was not located or did not accept to participate. In order to base the construction of the work, we used some researches by some authors that study the factors and consequences of the problem in question, as well as what has been done within the scope of public policies and actions. The main factors found in the survey, which led to the abandonment, were imminent disapprovals and lack of interest. There were also reasons related to pregnancy and job search. It was also noted that all students evaded in 2017, and the majority who dropped out, were aged beyond the recommended grade level. It was observed from the amount of abandonment, evasions and the lag in the grade-age of the students that the school needs urgent actions in relation to the problem researched.Item Água: do big bang ao sertão(Universidade Federal do Vale do São Francisco, 2019-12-18) Santos , Jaiiza Leal dos; Oliveira, Letícia MariaIn today’s society, water has become seen only as a water resource and no longer as an indispensable natural asset for the survival of humans and other species. We start using it indiscriminately, without thinking about its origin or why there is an abundance of liquid water on planet Earth. We started using it carelessly and without thinking about why water scarcity is in some regions of the planet and, mainly, about the relationship between water and life. Although our planet is known as '“planet water”', we know that it is distributed in various ways and in various places, and most of this water is difficult to access or not suitable for human consumption. Thinking about it, this work proposed to develop an educational product, in the format of thematic workshop, titled “Water: from the Big Bang to the sertão”, precisely in order to arouse new questions among the most varied audiences. Thus, two classes were chosen, being one of the elementary school I, specifically, of the 5 year, of the Municipal school Thomaz Guimarães and another class of EJA, Education of Youth and Adults, of the college Teixeira de Freitas, because they are public with very different views and conceptions. Interdisciplinary thematic workshops were developed, showing that a certain theme, can and should be approached in an alternative way, encompassing the knowledge of various disciplines, which provokes curiosity and arouses the interest of the most varied audiences. The development of Distance Education in Higher Education Institutions requires a series of adaptations to this educational modality, which also affects university libraries as information support units for teaching, research and extension. Distance learning becomes the target audience of these units, requiring products and services, especially technological ones, to support the teaching-learning process. Objective: To identify actions aimed at providing environments/platforms for distance learning services in libraries of institutions that are part of the Open University of Brazil. Methodology: This is a descriptive study with a qualitative and quantitative approach. The institutions were consulted through the SisUAB system, and data were collected by applying an online questionnaire with library managers of these institutions. Results: It can be seen that out of the 76 responding institutions, only three identified integration actions through an environment/platform for distance learning, and the service to this public is mostly centered on making virtual libraries and databases available. What stands out is the professionals' view that there is no need for differentiated services for distance and face-to-face audiences, with the maxim that all services are available to all audiences. Conclusion: The initiatives are few in relation to the universe of institutions investigated, so that actions to mitigate this information gap need to be increased and made more effective.Item Anais da I Exposição do Projeto Escavando História: São Raimundo Nonato Além dos Cem Anos(2012) Kestering, Celito (Org.)Item Anais da II Exposição e I Ciclo de Palestras do Projeto Escavando História: São Raimundo Nonato além dos cem anos(2013) Kestering, Celito (Org.)Item Anais da III exposição – II ciclo de palestras do projeto escavando história: São Raimundo Nonato além dos cem anos(2014) Kestering, Celito (Org.)Item Anais da IV exposição - III ciclo de palestras do projeto escavando história: São Raimundo Nonato além dos cem anos(2015) Kestering, Celito (Org.)Item Anais da IX Semana Acadêmica de Biologia da Universidade Federal do Vale do São Francisco: : 23 a 26 de agosto de 2021(Universidade Federal do Vale do São Fancisco, 2021-10-16) Nunes, Vladimir de Sales [et.al]RESUMO RESUMO RSUMO......Item Anais do I Seminário de Arqueologia de Sobradinho - BA(2014) Kestering, Celito (Org.); Kestering, Ducilene Soares Silva (Org.); Bezerra, Alvandyr (Org.)Item Anais do IV Semionário de Arqueologia de Sobradinho - BA(2018) Kestering, Celito (Org.)Item Anais do Projeto Caatinga(2016) Kestering, Celito (Org.)Item Uma análise comparativa entre softwares proprietários e livres na educação matemática: tendências, alternativas e licenças(Universidade Federal do Vale do São Francisco, 2023-12-28) Oliveira de Jesus, Samuel; Carvalho da Silva, Fabrício; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7014017382734722In the educational sphere, and in other contexts, there is a prejudice that free software is more complex, less reliable and of lower quality. This view is often fueled by a lack of understanding about the principles, properties and potential of these technologies, as well as by misconceptions spread by the media and the market. This work sought not only to compare proprietary and free software in mathematics education, addressing trends, alternatives and licenses, but also to offer a comprehensive view of the elements that permeate this analysis. During the research, crucial topics were explored, such as intellectual property (Chapter 2), the clear distinction between program and software (Chapter 3), presentation of the main types of software and licenses (Chapter 4), and Public Domain (Chapter 5). In Chapter 6, we present the research results, including the comparison between proprietary and free software, grouped by fields of activity in mathematics teaching and thematic units of the mathematics curriculum according to the BNCC. The study addressed the nuances of licenses associated with each type of software, providing a solid basis for informed decisions in the educational environment, promoting more conscious and ethical use of technology.Item Aplicabilidades das metodologias ativas no ensino fundamental I: um relato de experiência(UNIVERSIDADE FEDERAL DO VALE DO SÃO FRANCISCO, 2024-01-24) Cirilo, Carline Severo Andrade; Almeida, Debora Cristina Gomes de; Moreno, Thiago de Azevedo; Silva, Adriana Moreno CostaContemporary society has increasingly demanded training from subjects aligned with their multiple demands, in a scenario whose political, economic, technological, scientific and environmental changes are characterized by their accelerated fluidity. In this scenario, the school plays a crucial role in the education of the individuals immersed in it, capable of acting as protagonists and transformers of realities. In this sense, our research aimed to report experiences carried out with Elementary School I classes, obtained through the use of Active Methodologies as an innovative practice, using the licuri fruit, a native plant of the caatinga, inserted in the students' reality as a topic of discussion. The use of the Flipped Classroom and the Reflective Portfolio were intertwined and, through the application of these methodologies and, based on observations and records, data was collected. The results show that the adoption of these methodologies contribute greatly to the autonomous and reflective learning of students, in addition to requiring consistent planning from the teacher, respecting the context of the subjects involved and constant reflective practices to overcome challenges and achieve the proposed objectives.Item Aplicação da aprendizagem entre pares: um relato de experiência(Universidade Federal do Vale do São Francisco, 2024-01-31) Ferraz, Jamile; Vieira , Michelle Christini Araújo; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8764737957219458The aim of this study is to apply the Peer Learning methodology in order to identify the potential and weaknesses of its use within the teaching-learning process, as well as its application and expected results in the classroom. Within a specific theme, 5 problems were proposed for group construction, addressing the proposal of pair-based learning. As a result, it is worth highlighting the formation of a student capable of evaluating and building their own future through a commitment to training, with a holistic and creative vision of the proposed theme. The study method adopted was the construction of an experience report.Item Aprendizagem baseada em problema no ensino da medicina veterinária: uma revisão de literatura(Universidade Federal do Vale do São Francisco, 2024-01-22) Melo, Carlos Henrique Sousa de; Takenami, Iukary OliveiraWorkplace demands are constantly evolving; however, the education system often struggles to keep up with this progress. In the professional landscape, there is a growing demand for individuals with problem-solving skills. Thus, there is a need to develop new teaching methodologies that encourage students to be motivated, show interest, and acquire the ability to face challenges. In this context, Problem-Based Learning (PBL) has emerged as an effective methodology to address these issues. Therefore, the aim of this study is to highlight how the implementation of PBL can add value and make a difference in the teaching of various areas of Veterinary Medicine. This review has the guiding question: "How can the use of Problem-Based Learning contribute to Veterinary Medicine education?" The databases used were Science Direct, MEDLINE/PubMed, and SciELO, and article selection was conducted using the Start software. The searches returned a total of 77 articles. The PBL method was recommended by all analyzed studies and proved effective in motivating students, developing various skills, and enabling student autonomy in knowledge construction. However, some limitations related to familiarity with the method were reported, reinforcing the need for exploration and improvement in non-traditional methodologies by education professionals, aiming for a transformation in the educational landscape.Item Aprendizagem Baseada em Problema: relato de experiência em uma disciplina do curso de Empreendedorismo de um Projeto de Responsabilidade Social(Universidade Federal do Vale do São Francisco, 2023-12-20) Nascimento, Jandiracira; Martins, MarianaItem Aprendizagem baseada em problemas (PBL) no ensino de ciências e biologia na educação básica: uma revisão sistemática com base na análise de dissertações e teses brasileiras(UNIVERSIDADE FEDERAL DO VALE DO SÃO FRANCISCO, 2024-01-25) Santos, Elaine Fernanda dos; Martins, Erikson de Carvalho; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0733927428755194; https://orcid.org/0000-0003-4242-2431; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8499882428670494Science and Biology teaching has transformed in recent years, and demands of today's teaching and learning process have highlighted the importance of innovative strategies, approaches and methodologies.
