    The book "Discovering the Power of the Atom" presents an interactive teaching sequence designed to teach the concepts of nuclear fusion and fission in elementary school, overcoming the traditional challenges of this complex area of physics. Through contextualized and engaging activities, the material makes nuclear physics accessible and thought-provoking for elementary and middle school students, helping them understand both the scientific principles and the practical and ethical implications of the subject. The work highlights the importance of this knowledge for shaping critical citizens who are aware of current energy and environmental challenges, while also serving as an innovative tool for teachers, with the goal of inspiring young people to become future scientists and agents of social change.

    Through the solution of problems in Analytic Geometry, this work aims to discuss the potential of its concepts and formulas, which are often applied mechanically. Furthermore, it seeks to show, with due modesty, that within the teaching and learning process of this discipline there are still new horizons to be discovered and explored. This work is not intended as an introduction to Analytic Geometry, but rather as a review.

    Explorando tipos de estilos de interação em interfaces de software e seu impacto no esforço cognitivo

    The presentations in instructional tasks vary from simple representations such as paper and pencil to more complex dynamic displays found in current interactive devices, through interaction styles. Studies in the field have highlighted that potential mental planning during the execution of these tasks is influenced by the operational cost associated with the interaction style used, affecting both the time and cognitive effort required. Therefore, we suggest an instructional activity for elementary school students, aiming to present different types of interaction styles and discuss the cognitive effort associated with each one.

    This article aims to analyze the impact of TV Caatinga, as a digital educational platform, on the formation of the cultural agenda in the Semiarid region, considering the role of television in amplifying cultural themes and encouraging the participation of the university community and society in the collective construction of Cultural agenda. This article is based on the concept of agenda formation, developed by Secchi (2012) and Capella (2018). These authors enter the article, using the theoretical approach of Cobb and Elder, to describe the conditions for a problem to enter the Political Agenda. To this end, qualitative research will be developed regarding the approach and documentary research regarding the collection procedures. In order to meet the outlined objective, we proceed with an explanation about the function of a university television station as a vehicle for disseminating academic productions. Next, we return to the theoretical basis regarding the construction of agendas in public policies. Subsequently, the analysis of the observed material will be contextualized based on previous studies. Finally, conclusions are presented regarding the role of TV Caatinga as a participating agent in disputes related to public policy demands in the culture segment.

    Geometria Analítica : rotação e translação de eixos coordenados

    Rotation and translation of coordinate axes are fundamental techniques in Analytic Geometry used to simplify equations. The equation xy-x+y-3=0 represents a hyperbola. The mixed term (xy) indicates that the curve is not aligned with the original coordinate axes. For this reason, we apply a rotation of the axes by an angle (\theta) in order to eliminate the mixed term and obtain a simpler form of the equation. After the rotation, a translation of the axes may also be performed, shifting the origin to the center of the curve. In this way, the canonical form of the hyperbola is obtained. The change of coordinates makes it possible to: * identify the type of conic; * find the center of the curve; * determine symmetries; * facilitate the calculation of geometric elements such as vertices, foci, and asymptotes. The video allows us to visualize dynamically the harmony between the rotated axes (x_1) and (y_1), the angle (\theta), and the equations representing the hyperbola throughout the geometric transformation.

    Geometria analítica: equações paramétricas do plano

    This material presents, in a visual and educational way, the idea of a plane in parametric form in Analytic Geometry. The plane is defined by an initial point (P_0) and by two non-parallel direction vectors, (\vec a) and (\vec b). From the equation (P = P_0 + s\vec a + t\vec b), it is shown that, as the parameters (s) and (t) vary, the points belonging to the plane are generated. Thus, the animation helps students understand how the direction vectors determine the orientation of the plane in space.
