Through contextualized and engaging activities, the material makes nuclear physics accessible and thought-provoking for elementary and middle school students, helping them understand both the scientific principles and the practical and ethical implications of the subject. The work highlights the importance of this knowledge for shaping critical citizens who are aware of current energy and environmental challenges, while also serving as an innovative tool for teachers, with the goal of inspiring young people to become future scientists and agents of social change.
