Item Políticas Públicas de Acessibilidade no Brasil que favorecem a inclusão das Pessoas com Deficiência em Bibliotecas(2022-08-27) Santiago, Fábio SilvaThe present article has the characteristic of illustrating a paronama of the elements dealt with in the text, namely: Library, Public Policy and the Policies that benefit the information units. For this, we sought to use a methodology through bibliographic research. It was found that in Brazil there are laws, decrees, plans, programs and policies that benefit libraries and this is important for information professionals to be attentive to bring these improvements to their users, however it is perceived in the study a lack of accessibility policy created with the participation of these professionals and specific to Libraries.Item Acessibilidade em bibliotecas públicas universitárias: um estudo de caso no município de Senhor do Bonfim-BA(2020-08-27) Santiago, Fábio SilvaThis article focuses on identifying the types of resources that university libraries provide or can offer for access to people with physical and visual disabilities. The research aims to describe the physical infrastructure of public university libraries; find out if employees are trained to serve these users; observe what types of equipment / software they have; verify if libraries develop actions for the inclusion of people with disabilities. This study was carried out in three public university libraries in Senhor do Bonfim-Ba. The method used was a multiple case study. It seeks to investigate a phenomenon, through an observation script in libraries, interviews with librarians and users. In this way, it can be concluded that the university libraries selected in the research mostly allow access, that is, the user has access to the library, but it is considered inaccessible, as they do not have as required by the requirements legislation in its entirety for allowing the use of this environment, which is the library by people with disabilities, allowing the use of information on an equal basis by all. The motivations for development of the project are linked to the desire to save resources in the construction of indicators, as well as to promote the scientometrics studies in the institution as a way to improve the instruments for evaluating scientific activities in the university. It was based on a survey of the university's stricto sensu postgraduate programs, which together with the teachers working in these programs, formed the research universe. The Lattes Platform Database of the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development was defined as the initial source for the construction of strategy and congregation of indicators, using the method of data extraction of the tool ScriptLattes and the processing and visualization media ruled in statistical tabulation, social network analysis and tag clouds. In general, we considered the methodological strategy, built from bibliometric and scientometrics tools, feasible to apply to the universe investigated, making it possible to establish several scientific indicators of the postgraduate programs of the selected institution. The objective of saving resources in the strategy was a priority item, and for this, free and low-cost tools were prioritized. As a main limitation of the strategies formulated, it is necessary to carry out some activities of a manual nature, which makes the methodological resources undertaken here more suitable for smaller groups. It is pointed out as differential of the strategies, the flexibility in the treatment of the data, allowing the personalization of the indicators and the replication of the models presented in institutions of similar nature.Item Gerenciamento de redes sociais na sociedade da informação: uma reflexão sobre o uso do aplicativo Instagram como um instrumento de marketing pelo Sistema Integrado de Bibliotecas da Univasf(2022-04-08) Alves, Kênia Leandra Ferreira; Magalhães, Adriana Santos; Pinheiro, Ana Cleide Lúcio; Silva, Ana Paula Lopes da; Sandes, Lorena Carvalho de MoraisIt addresses the use of the Instagram application as a tool to promote the informational products and services offered by the University Libraries, configuring it, also, as a direct and effective channel of interaction and communication between the information unit and its users. The study discusses as well the importance of planning for managing the social network Instagram, listing guidelines and guideness adopted by the Integrated Library System of the Federal University São Francisco Valley - SIBI Univasf, to obtain positive results in the use of this particular social media. It is an exploratory work that integrated bibliographic research in its methodology to acknowledge the main discussions about the subject and the theoretical review of the area, through qualitative analysis, which supported the practical application of building the social network. It had been considered that the strategy thought and used to create and maintaining the SIBI profile on Instagram has been shown as adequate and assertive. It is concluded that the Instagram app has been proving to be an important marketing tool and a virtual reference service, contributing to the approximation of the academic community and the external public, disseminating knowledge, and providing quality service.
