    The book "Discovering the Power of the Atom" presents an interactive teaching sequence designed to teach the concepts of nuclear fusion and fission in elementary school, overcoming the traditional challenges of this complex area of physics. Through contextualized and engaging activities, the material makes nuclear physics accessible and thought-provoking for elementary and middle school students, helping them understand both the scientific principles and the practical and ethical implications of the subject.
