The research aims to describe the physical infrastructure of public university libraries; find out if employees are trained to serve these users; observe what types of equipment / software they have; verify if libraries develop actions for the inclusion of people with disabilities. This study was carried out in three public university libraries in Senhor do Bonfim-Ba. The method used was a multiple case study. It seeks to investigate a phenomenon, through an observation script in libraries, interviews with librarians and users. In this way, it can be concluded that the university libraries selected in the research mostly allow access, that is, the user has access to the library, but it is considered inaccessible, as they do not have as required by the requirements legislation in its entirety for allowing the use of this environment, which is the library by people with disabilities, allowing the use of information on an equal basis by all. Therefore, it is recommended that the company demands more compliance with Law No. 10,098 / 2000 and its inspection by Organs competent bodies.
